Is it getting hotter?

Are the icebergs melting?

Is the world temperature rising?

Each year is getting hotter. This is part of Global Warming. The Polar Bear's have no homes, this is because the ice flows are melting and the sea level is rising.

Question: Is this true? Are the levels of the oceans rising as the ice flows and the icebergs melt?

I Predict:

Once the ice cubes have fallen into the water the ocean level will dramatically rise and when it melts it will also make the ocean level rise.

What actually happened:

When the ice cubes fell into the water, the water level rose. All though, when the ice cubes melted the water level stayed exactly the same!

Explanation:

This is because,when the ice falls into the water, it pushes the water up. When

the ice melts its content is already in the water.

Fact:

.When an iceberg melts, the water level will not rise because the iceberg was already in the water.

.When ice melts on land and falls into the water, it causes the ocean level to rise.
